Dominico Sandalo, 45, and Ioannis Papachristou, 37, were busted on Thursday, June 6, when officers from the Norwalk Special Services Division and the Stamford Police Department Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit conducted a joint narcotics investigation into Sandalo, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.
During a search of Sandalo's home, officers, including from the DEA, found him engaged in a drug transaction with Papachristou. Both men were immediately taken into custody and Papachristou was found to be in possession of marijuana and THC Vape cartridges, Blake said.
Investigators seized the following from Sandalo’s residence:
- 46 Fentanyl pills
- 77 Oxycodone pills
- 750 grams of powder cocaine
- 15 pounds of marijuana
- 771 THC vape cartridges
- Vials of human growth hormone and assorted steroids
- $53,943 in cash
Sandolo was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to keep drugs in original container.
Papachristou was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with Intent to sell and possession of marijuana.
Both are scheduled to appear in court on July 17.
